Absolute Shine Auto Spa is a mobile detail and reconditioning company serving eastern Long Island — Select Member of the Air Force One Detail Team.
The main concern is making sure expectations for your vehicle’s detail are met. Absolute Shine takes time to educate each client about the detailing process so the technician and the client share realistic goals within time and budget.
Products and instruction are offered to help maintain that just-detailed look with minimal effort — the same products used day in and day out, including on Absolute Shine’s own vehicles.
Professional training with Renny Doyle of Attention to Details raised the level of work. Renny and his mentors continue to network and keep Absolute Shine current with techniques and products. Continuing education stays part of the practice.

Air Force One & T-Square 54
These photos are from the project Absolute Shine refers to as “Air Force One” and “T-Square 54” — a detailing project unlike any other.
Led by detailing guru Renny Doyle of Attention to Details, a team of forty detailers hand-picked from around the country descended on Seattle’s Museum of Flight to detail the very first Air Force One. The crew also polished a famous World War II B-29 bomber known as T-Square 54.
Absolute Shine was honored to be picked for the restoration — polishing aluminum at its finest level. Museum curators said she never looked better. Local coverage followed in home areas; the team was also covered by the local NBC affiliate in Seattle.
Douglas Cunningham appeared in the Sag Harbor Express, Southampton and East Hampton Press, Dan’s Papers, and had a picture in the Seattle Times.
